Adam D. Glassman is the firm’s managing attorney. His expertise is in the prosecution of both federal and state personal injury and medical malpractice liability matters. Furthermore, Mr. Glassman handles commercial, corporate and real estate transactions for personal, as well as institutional clientele.
Mr. Glassman graduated from Brooklyn College (summa cum laude) in 1991 and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society that same year. Thereafter, he attended the Fordham University School of Law and served as a staff member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal, before graduating in 1994. Subsequently, he was admitted to the Bar in the States of New Jersey (1994) and New York (1995), the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Following his admission to the New York Bar, Mr. Glassman served as a Trial Attorney with Zurich’s Insurance Company's Manhattan staff counsel office (1995-1999). He later served as a Senior Trial Attorney in Zurich’s Long Island staff counsel office (1999-2000). While employed by Zurich, Mr. Glassman was engaged in the practice of defense litigation, with a focus on New York State Labor Law, automobile, and premises liability cases. In addition to taking a number of favorable jury verdicts, Mr. Glassman also drafted and successfully argued numerous appeals before the Appellate Divisions in the First and Second Judicial Departments.
In 1997, Mr. Glassman commenced his teaching career as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Zicklin School of Business of the City University of New York (CUNY). Some years later, he left Zurich to pursue teaching full-time as a Professor of Law at Zicklin (2000-2005), where he instructed graduate and undergraduate students in all facets of the “Law of Business Contracts” and the “Law of Business Organizations”.
In addition to being honored by Zicklin and CUNY as one of its most outstanding Professors, Mr. Glassman excelled as a scholar, having published a number of Law Review articles in nationally renowned Law Reviews and Law Journals. These articles have since been cited by a multitude of academicians in their own scholarly works. Mr. Glassman’s most significant contribution to CUNY came through his involvement with the CUNY (now Macaulay) Honors College. From 2001 to 2005, he served this institution with distinction both as a course creator and Professor. After taking time off to focus on the private practice of law, Mr. Glassman resumed his involvement with the Macaulay Honors College in January of 2007, where he continues to serve as a course advisor and Adjunct Professor at its Hunter College Campus.
Mr. Glassman has also served as an adjunct Professor of Law at Touro College, where he taught courses in both Real Estate and Business Law.
Finally, for the past ten years,
Mr. Glassman has served as a New York State Administrative Law Judge with the Office of Children and Family Services. As an Administrative Law Judge, he is responsible for adjudicating appeals.

Gary Berenshteyn attended Baruch College of the City University of New York, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. While at Baruch, Mr. Berenshteyn was a member and graduate of the inaugural class of the Macaulay Honors College. Thereafter, Gary attended Hofstra University School of Law, where he was enrolled in the Community and Economic Development Clinic. During his tenure with the clinic, Mr. Berenshteyn promoted social and economic justice by providing transactional assistance to nonprofits, community-based organizations and micro-enterprises in low-income communities in and around Nassau County. Gary Berenshteyn has been with the Glassman Law Group since September of 2006 and is admitted to the New York State Bar. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
